BIO
Kerstin Nichols’ jewelry and sculpture can be found in
the permanent Collections of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in NYC and the
Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village in Millville, NJ, in
addition to other public and private collections. In addition to her
personal creative work, she teaches metalsmithing at the Hanover League
of New Hampshire Craftsmen where she has run their metals program since
1991, as well as artist residency projects in VT and NH schools. She
has a MFA in Sculpture/Glass from the NY State College of Ceramics at
Alfred University, Alfred ,NY, and a BA in Biology/Geology from New
York University, NY, NY. She is a long time resident of Hartford,
Vermont.
